Areas of StudyVisual Arts Minor | Art History/Visual Arts Joint Major | Course Atlas Requirements for a Visual Arts Minor24 credits including: Twelve hours* (3 courses) of Visual Arts in the following areas: Ceramics *At least one of the three studio courses must be at the 200 level. No more than two courses (eight credit hours) may be in any one area. Twelve hours (3 courses) of Art History including: ARTHIST 266 (Contemporary Visual Arts)* OR ARTHIST 210 (Contemporary Art Issues Workshop – Spring semester only) *ARTHIST 266 (Contemporary Visual Arts) may not be applied to the Art History major if it is applied to the Visual Arts minor. The College permits only four credit hours taken S/U to apply to the minor upon approval.
